ALTAR GUILD: Our dedicated group of
ladies set up, decorate, and maintain the altar area weekly for events
such as communion, baptisms, and church holidays to keep our worship
services and programs running smoothly.
COMPUTER
USER’S GROUP: Our
computer enthusiasts help you deal with your computer problems, discuss
software and hardware products and trends. If you have lots of
computing questions but no answers, the Computer User’s Group is your
answer! Meets on the third Saturday of each month, 1:00-3:30 pm, in the
Fellowship Hall.
CONNECTIONS
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY: Classes
for children 3 years through 8th grade. We will learn to follow King
Jesus. Younger children will join the “Veggie Connection”, with lessons
based on Veggie Tales themes.
INTERCESSORS
PRAYER CHAIN: Do
you have a need, any need, that we can pray for? Call or e-mail the
church office with your requests. Intercessors usually also meet on
Saturday mornings at the church.
KID’S
CONNECTION: A
special message time just for kids each Sunday during Pastor’s message
time. The children receive the weekly message in a format geared to
their level featuring puppets, music, and God’s word. Join us for
“Veggie Connection” where we learn to be like Jesus from Bob &
Larry!
LADIES
IN THE WORD: A
Bible study group for women. Meets on Thursday afternoons from 1:00 to
2:30 pm. There are video presentations, group discussions, Bible
history and study times, and lots of interesting conversation. Come
when you can!
PRAISE
TEAM: Divine
Shepherd’s Praise Team provides music, prayer, and meditation during
our worship services. If you play an instrument or enjoy singing, you
may wish to meet with Jan Holter or Michael Cook, our Praise Team
leaders.
SMALL
GROUP BIBLE STUDY: This
study group meets on the second Monday of the month from 10:00-11:30 am
to study the Word of God. Come when you can!
SOUND/VIDEO
MINISTRY: Divine
Shepherd has opportunities for you to serve during services. If you
have interest and/or experience in operating sound equipment such as
mixers, recorders, duplicators or video projection equipment, running
Powerpoint presentations, please see Michael Cook, Wendy Webster, or
contact the office!
TEENSERVE: A group of 7th grade - 21
years of age youth who work together to aid the less fortunate in the
community. Each summer, our Teenserve group travels supervised by adult
chaperones, to a different locale where they alongside members of other
Teenserve groups, volunteer to help fix up homes (painting, roofing,
minor repairs) for the less fortunate and/or for seniors by day and
camp by night as a group. A rewarding experience all around!
WOMEN’S
MINISTRY: Offers
exciting “get to know you” events year round such as game nights, group
dining out nights, going to plays, craft events and more. A calendar of
events for the Women’s Ministry is available here to view or download to your computer. Contact Darlene Turall or the

DANCE: Worship
